Autism Awareness Day! Sunday 8/29 with the BRAVES!

I was just made aware of this and hope that everyone can change their plans for this lovely sunday and come on out the Turner Field and support Autism Awareness Day with the Atlanta Braves!

Sunday, August 29 at 1:30 p.m.

Join the Atlanta Braves and help raise awareness for Autism Spectrum Disorders on Autism Awareness Day at Turner Field, Sunday, August 29th. Children and adults with autism will receive a free ticket with the purchase of one discounted Terrace Pavilion ticket.

Family and Friends Terrace Pavilion tickets – $12 (50% off regular price of $24)

Also, a pre-game Autism Awareness fair in Monument Grove will include vendors such as: A. Skate, American Gra-Frutti, The Camp Dream Foundation, F.A.C.E.S, and more.

All participants, families and friends are invited to participate in a pre-game parade around the Turner Field warning track.

*Please note: Fans will receive confirmation upon receipt of your ticket order via email/mail.

*Those who wish to participate in the pre-game parade must report to the Hank Aaron ramp near section 125/129 no later than 12:30 pm.

    I thought we might come out and do this, but wrangling 2 kids on the spectrum (who care nothing about baseball and have short attention spans) seemed like a daunting task. ;) What a great event though! We’ll be there in spirit anyhoo! :)
