Gasoline Bros will be opening for Tab Benoit tonight at Smiths Olde Bar.

The Doors are at 8:00 p.m. so get there early to get a good spot!

You do not want to miss this show!

The Gasoline Bros are a group of songwriters, pickers and friends. Heading up the group is Ray Strickland who plays Guitar and sings, with David Piper on Bass, Jack Browning on Guitar, Joey Huffman on Keyboards and Dusty Einger playing the drums.

This is straight up Americana, Country ROCK!

Come out and meet the band, see the show and say hello to ladies of The Backstage Beat as they show their support to Joey Huffman~ If you have enjoyed reading “Postcards from the Road” with Joey Huffman on The Backstage Beat,  now is time to come out and watch him work his magic on those keys!!

Tab Benoit will go on after The Gasoline Bros. Since his debut in 1992, Tab has recorded with Junior Wells, Willie Nelson, Billy Joe Shaver, James Cotton, Cyril Neville, Kim Wilson of the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Henry Gray, and Jimmy Hall of Wet Willie to name a few and now fifteen solo recordings, three Grammy nominations, and a budding movie career later it may be his work as a wetlands activist that he will most be remembered but until then it is his rich tone, soulful voice, and seeped with tradition song-writing that makes him Louisiana’s #1 Roots music export.
