Project 96.1 Family Reunion “Sevendust”
Sevendust is an American heavy metal band from Atlanta, Georgia. The band was formed in 1994 by bassist Vincent Hornsby, drummer Morgan Rose and guitarist John Connolly. After their first demo, lead vocalist Lajon Witherspoon and guitarist Clint Lowery joined the group. Following a few name changes, the members settled on the name Sevendust and released their self-titled debut on April 15, 1997.
The self-titled debut sold 311 copies its first week.[2] However, through touring, and TVT support, the album gained charting success through Billboard and earned gold certification. Since formation, Sevendust has released eight studio albums, earned additional charting success and gold sales certifications. Their eighth studio album, titled Cold Day Memory, was released on April 20, 2010. They have also re-released their self-titled debut album as Sevendust: Definitive Edition which contains five new tracks and a DVD.

Brooklyn based funk band Turkuaz played at Aisle Five in Atlanta last week and here are some shots from the show!
Fantastic time shooting the wonderfully talented Wood Brothers – This is from their Buckhead Theatre show in Atlanta.
Fear Factory destroyed the Masquerade on September 4th with an amazing set. Fear Factory was one of the first bands to pioneer industrial metal. It was great to see them back in Atlanta after a long absence. Fear Factory is on tour promoting their new album Genexas, which lead singer Burton made sure we pronounced correctly (ha). Their show was great and I found myself singing along while I took pictures of the band. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact I could hardly SEE the band. Once again the Masquerade didn’t bother to turn up the stage lights for the bands. This of course makes it very hard to photograph. Nonetheless, I still really enjoyed watching this band play some of my favorite tunes live like Shock, Edgecrusher, Damaged, and Demanufacture!
