I just came across this site and think it is brilliant!!! This wonderful man Alek K is raising awareness of an autoimmune disorder called Celiac Disease.  So please consider adding to the over $50,000 that has been raised for the Univ of Maryland Center for Celiac Research and give some Christmas cheer!

Both of his children have it and in order to raise awareness and funds for research, Alek K. turns his home into a winter wonderland that people all over the world – including YOU – can control with the click of a mouse!

Alek’s Controllable Christmas Lights for Celiac Disease use three christmas webcams for a live view of over 20,000 Christmas lights which you can control (you can even inflate or deflate the inflatables) to entertain Alek’s neighbors and cars passing on the street!  All three webcams are online from Thanksgiving to January 1st between 5-10:00PM MST (GMT-7), when it is dark of course.

Enjoy and tell your friends/kids/co-workers about it!  You can even “Like” it on Facebook or Tweet about it.  Spread the Christmas Spirit!
