Fred “The Hammer” Williamson is an American actor, architect, and former professional American football defensive back who played mainly in the American Football League during the 1960s.

Williamson first came to attention in the TV series “Julia” (1968) playing love interest, Steve Bruce.  However, his rugged, athletic physique made him a natural for energetic roles and he quickly established himself as a street wise, tough guy in films.

He took a moment out of signing pictures to talk to us and here is what happened:
