SATURDAY JUNE 25th! This is going to be a great day of music! Best yet, it’s all for a great cause! Join The Backstage Beat and support this cause!
Grady Health Foundation, in association with our partners AirTran Airways and Gold Shield Foundation, is presenting Rock-N-Ride on June 25, 2011. This motorcycle ride will raise money to support traumatic injuries treated at Grady Health System, metro Atlanta’s only Level 1 Trauma Center. The event theme is “music and motorcycles” and public safety personnel from across the state of Georgia – as well as the general public – are invited to participate in this fundraising experience.
Registration begins at Killer Creek Harley-Davidson in Roswell at 11:00am. The ride leaves at 2:00pm for MusicFest at Hard Rock Café in downtown Atlanta. MusicFest will feature two stages with live music, artisans selling unique products, food and drink vendors, and a host of other activities. Bands on the Peachtree Street main stage include Six Shot Revival, Yacht Rock and Mother’s Finest. The Velvet Underground stage, located inside Hard Rock Café, will feature Ledfoot Messiah, Stonerider and The Pelvis Breastlies.

Eddie Owen Presents an evening of Song from the Lyrical Genius of Levi Lowrey, Fester Hagood and Brother Shine White!
If there is any part of you that wants to do this workshop, do it.
Even if you’ve never written a song.
Even if you have a notebook full of half-finished songs that you would never want anyone to see.
Even if you think you’re already really awesome at songwriting and know everything there is to know about it.
The thing is, anyone can learn. Anyone can get better. You will be amazed and delighted at what you’re able to come up with when you’ve got guidance, encouragement, accountability, and very specific assignments.
