The Kicks

The Kicks are what I like to call “New Southern Rock”. This group from Nashville played to lucky fans on Friday the 13th at Smiths Olde Bar. Lead
singer, Jordan Phillips and former Atlanta boy sang with a voice that is sometimes sweet and sometimes raspy complimented the bluesy rock sound of
The Kicks. Lead guitar was Adam Stark, bass was Gabe Anderson both of which lent their voices from time to time to harmonize with Jordan creating more
layers to their sound. Adam was pure Americana on the guitar and Gabe funked it up on bass. To tie it all together with a nice rock and roll bow, was
Lucas Cummins on drums. The Kicks sing often of love and the things it makes us do.The band is currently promoting their double single “Let Me Love You” and “Lay It On Me”.
