Six Flags will open its gates early on Sunday so “A Walk in the Park” participants can enjoy a private, family-friendly morning. The 3k walk will conclude with a special ceremony honoring all children treated at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. All proceeds raised at Six Flags Over Georgia will remain in the local community to help save and improve the lives of children treated in Atlanta. Each participant that raises $50 or more will receive a free ticket to enjoy Six Flags Over Georgia after the walk and will have the opportunity to be the first riders of the day on Dare Devil Dive, the park’s new coaster for 2011.
