The Solid Sound Festival – a music and arts festival curated by Wilco – returns to MassMoCa in North Adams, MA June 24th-26th.
Full of emerging musical talent, Wilco, side projects by accomplished musicians you might have heard of, Wilco, art exhibits, Wilco, comedy performances, Wilco and much, much more (also, did we mention Wilco?), this three day festival is a delight for the senses and an experience you do not want to miss.
Now Wilco is making it harder than ever to make excuses for staying home in Boston: for only $40 (one-way), The Peter Pan Bus will pick up lucky Bostonians at the Woburn-Anderson Transportation Center, and deliver them directly to the festival grounds. Add free wi-fi, a power outlet at each seat, like-minded fans, and movies shown the whole trip to the equation, and this begins to sound like an awful lot of fun. Consider the current cost of gas, and the Peter Pan Bus starts to sound like a highly logical choice, as well.
Tickets are limited, and must be purchased before the 24th, so stop procrastinating, and snap them up HERE.
The “early-worm” tickets may be sold out, but there are plenty of regular pre-sale festival tickets to be had, and did you know??? Kids 6 and under are FREE.

If there is any part of you that wants to do this workshop, do it.
Even if you’ve never written a song.
Even if you have a notebook full of half-finished songs that you would never want anyone to see.
Even if you think you’re already really awesome at songwriting and know everything there is to know about it.
The thing is, anyone can learn. Anyone can get better. You will be amazed and delighted at what you’re able to come up with when you’ve got guidance, encouragement, accountability, and very specific assignments.
