Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse

Time to start wearing jeans and your favorite hoodie. Morning comes chilly and evening comes early, this can mean only one thing…haunted house season! Atlanta boasts some of the biggest, best and creepiest haunts in the country but my favorite by far is The Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse. AZA as it is know, is 100,000 square feet of live action interactive zombie goodness.  Imagine the end of the world and a zombie attack all at the same time and you get to be a part of it! AZA relies upon the amazing skill of professional actors to keep the storyline seamless and encourages visitors to play an interactive role. The option to shoot zombies with paint balls in a designated area is yet one more aspect that makes AZA special. I can tell you from personal experience, it feels good to shoot zombies.

I was able to go back into the zombie factory and see how the creative team of AZA makes 90% of all props, costumes and sets promising a one of a kind experience. This will be year two for AZA and one can expect some changes from last years attraction. AZA is bigger and better and promises to continue changing and evolving every year. Opening night is Friday, September 30th and will run Thursday- Sunday through the end of October. 7:30p.m.-Midnight (11:00 p.m. Sundays and 10:30 p.m. Halloween night). The AZA experience last approximately 25 minutes and costs $20 for immersive walkthrough, $15 to only shoot zombies and $30 to both walk through and shoot. Check out the website for more FAQ and information. http://www.atlantazombie.com/
