If you miss going to the circus or carnival, then check out the East Atlanta Strut on Saturday, September 17, from 10am until 11pm. The Strut is a one day Music and Arts Festival held in East Atlanta Village. There will be a slew of carnival games, including fortune telling and a dunk tank, and Atlanta’s own Imperial OPA Circus will be performing on a stage of their very own! If you get a chance, don’t miss their set with Musee du Coeur at 7pm.

There will be five stages of live local music, a comedy stage, 5K run & walk, an artists’ market, the Strut Parade, a free kids village, carnival games, a bull ride, community promotion booths, and of course, food and beverages.

The East Atlanta Strut is run and organized by volunteers to promote the East Atlanta neighborhood and its businesses. This fundraiser will benefit the community by funding local projects and organizations. Remember to leave the car at home or carpool or take public transportation as parking is very limited in the neighborhood side streets. Due to permit restrictions bicycles are NOT permitted within the Strut Footprint. The Strut will be providing a FREE manned bicycle corral in partnership with the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition located at the south side of the festival on Flat Shoals Avenue opposite the Midway Pub. Due to permit restrictions only service DOGS are permitted within the Strut Footprint. Alcoholic beverages will only be served to attendees over the age of 21 with a VALID photo ID.
