Jason Bonham, rock n roll royalty and legendary drummer, called into The Backstage Beat to talk about the tour that will bring him to Atlanta November 13th as well as how he has come to terms with his past and is learning to live for the day and enjoy the small things.
Being humble was what we ended with and I felt that was so profound as he has gone up and down the ladder of success. He has finally come to a place where he is on solid ground and it was a pleasure to discuss that all with him.[audio: JasonBonhamTBBInterview.mp3]
JASON BONHAM’S LED ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE will celebrate the life and music of his father, the legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, when it hits the road for a limited engagement of 30 North American concert dates this fall. But for Jason–a renowned kitman in his own right who performed as part of Led Zeppelin during the iconic band’s historic, heralded December 2007 reunion show in London–JBLZE means much more to him than just an opportunity to pay tribute to the pioneering hard rock foursome he grew up with.
