INAUGURAL GEORGIA MUSIC DAY AT THE CAPITOL

WHAT:            

Inaugural Georgia Music Day at the Capitol

This year both the House of Representatives and the State Senate will recognize the impact of Georgia’s music industry on our great state. High-profile artists from diverse genres, and music business leaders will represent the music industry to Georgia legislators on the House and Senate floors to express how important it is to “Grow Music in Georgia.” Georgia’s influential music industry is a key sector of the state’s emerging creative economy, and future growth is dependent upon fostering an understanding of the economic, cultural and educational benefits generated by the industry.
