Thank goodness that the run of Clyde ‘n Bonnie has been extended until April 15, otherwise I would have missed the best show of the season.

This musical premiere takes you into the annual celebration of an American folktale.  This dynamic cast will wow you with dance, song, and pizzazz that centers on some outlaws.

Bonnie (Laura Floyd) seeks an odyssey out west to become a movie star, when she crosses the path of the bandit Clyde (J.C. Long). Together they try to outrun the law, but J. Edgar Hoover (Bart Hansard) is close on their tails every step of the way.

Martha (Karen Howell) keeps order as this cast of misfits retells the story from not too long ago of Cyde ‘n Bonnie:  A Folk Tale. This lively show will have you dancing and stinging in your seats.  Aurora Theatre has again taken the many talents of Atlanta and made a fantastic show.

This production is marvelous and it was sold out on the matinee show I saw.  Who knows who you might run into, the day I went I literally ran into actor Tony Shalhob (aka Monk) who was there in his support of nephew Tony Larkin.

Don’t miss out on a chance to catch Clyde ‘n Bonnie: A Folktale at the Aurora Theatre, for tickets and show times visit: www.auroratheatre.com or call (678) 226-6222.
