Libby’s at Actor’s Express Theatre

Dr. Wilson TrivinoTheater ReviewsApril 24, 2012

Everyone loves a cabaret and Libby Whittlemore never disappoints. In her series Libby’s at the Express, Libby is joined by Wendy Melkonian and Lisa Paige for a night of Broadway greats.

This series entitled Sing for Your Supper: a tribute to the music of Rodgers and Hart is an old school nostalgic trip to the classics.  Libby did clarify that it did not mean the audience had to sing for their supper, they just need to sit back and enjoy.

The trio did a fantastic job of transition back and forth between well known tunes as “Isn’t It Romantic”, “Where or When” and “I Could Write A Book”.

Wendy Melkonian is also a well known actress and was in the recent hit Becky’s New Car at the Roswell Ensemble Theatre.

Enjoy yourself and go back for one night to the magic of old school romance with this Sing for Your Supper program at Actors Express running through April 22, for tickets and show times visit: www.actors-express.com or call (404)607-SHOW.
