Atlanta, Georgia-  You can’t help but feel the excitement as you enter the new home of Pinch n’ Ouch Theatre at the Selah Center Theatre in the heart of Virginia Highlands on Ponce de Leon.  This creative bunch has a track record of producing thought provoking fast moving plays.

Even with the fresh smell of paint and wood of the newly constructed set, Speed-the-Plow hits on some old Hollywood themes: greed, lust, and betrayal.

This play’s fast pace dialogue keeps you on the edge of your seat as you are given a behind the scenes peek into the magic of movie making.

In this tale Charles Fox (Robert Mello) approaches friend and producer Bobby Gould (Jayson Smith) with an idea that is sure to be a blockbuster.   Unfortunately Bobby loses his focus as he is side tracked by his sexy assistant Karen (Jackie Costello) who’s wide eye optimism tugs at his faith in humanity.

Actor Robert Mello’s intense portrayal of Charlie urgency in the mission makes for a believable character that lives on edge and ready to lose it.

Speed-the-Plow is raw in your face Hollywood suspense, a perfect play in a place that is burgeoning as the new East Coast star making movie town and beckon of dreams, ATLwood.

Be sure to check out Speed-The-Plow and don’t miss out on a chance to be a part of the cool kids that reside at Pinch ‘n Ouch Theatre Company.

Check out Speed-The-Plow running through April 29, for tickets and show times visit: www.pnotheatre.org at the Selah Center Theatre, 1085 Ponce De Leon Ave. NE, Atlanta, Georgia.
