The weekend of April 28 and 29 provided a great opportunity for the Atlanta area to discover the many healthy alternatives at the 8th Annual Alive! Expo.
The expo is always a highlight for me, as I discover new suppliers of healthy and natural products. Publix, one of the major sponsors of this years show, had a wonderful replica of their stores Publix Greenwise Market®. The samples in the Publix area included bread, nuts and deli hams.
In the VIP tasting are, they had samples from many local organic retailers. Jubilee Organic Creamery provided samples of their spreadable cream butter. There was organic fudge and healthy pasta dishes, too.
The expo also brought in experts to their lecture series, which included healthy cooking demonstrations and tips for living stress free lives.

Atlanta Jewish Music Festival March 12-23
AJMF is proud to announce the lineup for its 6th Annual Atlanta Jewish Music Festival (AJMF6)! AJMF6 will take place around the Greater Atlanta Area from March 12-23 and will feature local, regional, national and international Jewish musicians. This signature, multi-day Spring Festival is the only annual celebration of Jewish music in the South.
“AJMF6 is going to be our biggest and best yet,” Founder and Director Russell Gottschalk said. “I’m most excited about the spotlight we’ve given Israeli performers at our Main Event, offering Atlantans and visitors from around the South a chance to connect to Israel here at home. But we also continue to support local Jewish musicians and over half of our featured performers live in the Greater Atlanta area. From our smallest stage on Opening Night to the huge crowd at the ACFB Hunger Walk/Run, from our local talents to our international rock stars, there is something for everyone at our signature Spring Festival.”
