Mon Cherie presents: “May The 4th Be With You!” on Star Wars Day
Star Wars fans will be celebrating the official holiday of the films and culture in risque style this on Friday, May 4th when Mon Cherie Presents: “May The 4th Be With You!”, a Star Wars themed burlesque show at The Shelter nightclub in Atlanta. A common and well-known quote throughout the films, “May the force be with you” is punned into “May the 4th be with you” by zealous fans and celebrated as a Star Wars holiday.
There will be Star Wars inspired performances by Devin Liquor, Stormy Knight, Scarlett Page, Hada Pixie, Katy Malmquist, and Christina Hoffman.
At midnight, watch out as things get racing in a Star Wars costume contest. It has to make you wonder how many Princess Leia slave outfits, Stormtroopers, Darth Vadar, Han Solo, Boba Fett, and others will be wandering around the Shelter. Place your bets beforehand, droids! And, of course, remember to let the Wookie win. Speaking of winning, there will be an out of this world raffle with prizes from Lux De Ville handbags, Sacred Heart Tattoo, Rogue Hair Studio, Jezebel Blue, hats & hair fleurs, concert tickets, facials, and so much more!
Doors will open at 9 p.m. 21 and up only. $7 cover.
