Tara Lee returns with a world premiere after giving us Poem, 16 String, and most recently Akara during Wabi Sabi. Best known as a principal dancer in her sixteenth season with Atlanta Ballet, Lee has proven that she is a multi-dimensional and exciting emerging choreographer. Her work bridges the worlds of classical and contemporary dance, resulting in “a pleasurable marriage of traditional and trendy styles” (ArtsATL). Bursting with raw emotion and cinematic in nature, Lee’s choreography captivates.
