Raising Moral and Happy Children

   WHO:          Boston Children’s Museum staff, parents, educators and child caregivers who are interested in learning about raising moral and happy children.

WHAT:           This Lunch & Learn lecture features Dr. Richard Weissbourd speaking on the topic of Raising Moral and Happy Children.  A child and family psychologist, Weissbourd is on the faculty of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and School of Education. He is the author of “The Parents We Mean To Be, How Well-Intentioned Adults Undermine Children’s Moral and Emotional Development.”

Dr. Weissbourd approaches this subject as a psychologist and from first-hand perspective as a father of three. He is very aware of the daily challenges parents face in raising children, and offers an encouraging road map to all parents doing right, and where they may consider revising course.
