New York has its crystal drop in Times Square, Atlanta has its peach drop in Underground Atlanta. Here in the heart of the city an 800 lbs peach makes a descent as the clock strikes midnight. An estimated 100,000 will be at Underground Atlanta ringing in 2013 and saying farewell to 2012.
Not the only thing going on in that spot, the last day of 2012 will be filled with activities that leading up to the show time of 12 AM.
This year’s headliner will be Abbey Road LIVE! A group performing since 2002 and is widely recognized as bringing the most iconic songs from the fab four, the Beatles. Not your typical tribute band, this group embodies the excitement and uproar of old school rock and roll.
