Mr. Green is a curmudgeon old Jewish man who lives a solitary existence in his high rise apartment in the middle of New York City. Not only is he recently widowed, this octogenarian is pretty set in his ways and daily routine.

All of a sudden in walks in Ross Gardiner (Chad Martin) whose wide eyed optimism and is more than happy to reconnect Mr. Green to the outside world. Ross does what any good Jewish boy would do; feed him kosher food and lure Mr. Green out of his shell.

Visiting Mr. Green is a heartwarming tale of inter-generational friendship and learning to let go off past grudges and beliefs, old dogs can learn new tricks.  Visiting Mr. Green gives you faith in the power of the human touch and the importance of loving relationships.

Directed by Alan Kilpatrick, Visiting Mr. Green runs through February 17 at Stage Door Players.

Do note for two nights, January 29 & 30, 2013,  “Oh, Mr. Faulkner, Do You Write?” will play at Stage Door Players. A one man show based on the life of Southern writer William Faulkner.

Get out of your winter blues and travel to the Big Easy as the Stage Door Players have Krewel of Thalia & Melpomene- A Mardi Gras Masked ball on February 2.  Sure to be a grand old time.

All these and much more fun events can be found at www.StageDoorPlayers.net or call (770)396-1726
