Everyone remembers their 10th birthday; you are now on your way to grown up status with double digits. Not truly the case for the Children’s Museum of Atlanta, where they celebrated ten years with Amuse’um 2013 Crowns & Cupcakes: A Birthday Jubilee.
The perfect venue for kids of all ages, the museum is an interactive center that shares the wonders of the world with the whimsical energy of a child’s unfiltered eye. This night of celebration included the music of Yacht Rock and the delicacies of Soiree Catering. Crowns and tiaras were the preferred flair of the night.
Walking in you being serenaded by royalty and you were handed a fresh glass of champagne is the way to be received. The dress was royal fashion as the full house crowd played games like pin the crown on the royal or spinning trivia. Instead of bobbing for apples, you could bob for fine wines.
The crowd of the young and the beautiful danced the night away and took part in a live auction that included gift cards to Krystals and Target and the chance to spend a week in New York City penthouse, see Conan O’Brien live in Atlanta, or better yet, feel your toes in the sand in a one week stay at a private villa in Belize.
