Boston was graced with the momentous return of its own Video Game Orchestra, performing in the Berklee Performance Center for the first time since 2009. The packed venue was filled with fans of all ages eager to hear songs from their favorite video games, old and new. The orchestra, led by conductor Shota Nakama, provided a high-octane concert along the scale of a rock show and had the audience singing along and laughing throughout the evening.

Kicking off the evening was a medley of tunes from timeless Capcom brawler Street Fighter II: The World Warrior. The group played the famous opening intro melody, the crowd going wild as soon as it began and game footage projected onto the screen behind the band.
