The show is a two-part show, beginning with an all-acoustic set, then hitting the audience with his electric blues-rock based extravaganza. Joe Bonamassa has assembled an incredible group of musicians who easily bridge the gap between acoustic and electric sets. His band includes Gerry O’Connor (Dubliners, Irish Rovers) on fiddle and banjo; Swede Mats Webster playing a variety of strange looking stringed instruments like the Nyckelharpa and Mandola; and some heavy hitters from the Los Angeles scene who have been playing with many of biggest artists for many years. These include the legendary percussionist Lennny Castro (Toto, Diana Ross, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan); on keyboards, Derek Sherinian, (Alice Cooper, KISS, Buddy Miles) and was in Joe’s previous band “Black Country Communion;” Carmine Rojas tearing up the Bass (David Bowie, Billy Joel, Carlos Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughn and the great B.B. King); and veteran Drummer Tal Bergman (Billy Idol, Rod Stewart).   With this lineup, Joe B. can have the confidence to just relax and do what he does best, which is to blow your mind with his guitar prowess.
