As talked some more he told us that he feels that break-dancing is really the ultimate in dance. “They are doing some really really really difficult moves, like power moves! Like gymnastic style and it takes an athlete to pull it off.” Kurtis contended. He added that ballet is really similar to this in how hard it is to pull off those moves and the grace needed is mind blowing.
Kurtis made the claim that we won’t see anything like this out there in the performing world and I agree. I can’t wait to see this!
Kurtis exclaimed, “If you are a fan of hip hop, if you are a fan of the classics, if you are a fan of big orchestra, this show is going to make your day. It is down home fun, it’s for families, and it is a great look for hip hop.”
Kurtis spends much of his time performing around the country and trying to lead by example through his personal walk with God. He said without his relationship with God, he has no idea where he would be. He hopes to spread a little peace this holiday season and hopes you will join him on Saturday November 28th at 2 p.m. at the Fox Theatre. Get your tickets HERE.
